With the help of a level and a pencil, she draws the letters and numbers inside the border. Different sized blue tapes help fill in the numbers and letters depending on its width. Maura chooses a tape that fits each letter or number and starts taping each letter. She then cuts a round shape as the pencil line is visible through the tape. Maura seals the edges of the letters by applying the base coat. After the base coat has dried, she applies the Spruce green shade from Benjamin Moore. She then leaves it to dry and after it has dried completely, she slowly peels off the edges and tapes on the wall. If any area needs a little touch-up, Maura applies white paint on it.
